Our analysis and consultation with Indigenous communities identified ways to improve value for money of welfare spending through card based income management. Our report was the first of its kind and underpinned the Government’s design of an income management regime that has now been rolled out to many Indigenous and other disadvantaged communities.
The TAFE is the largest vocational education and training institution in NSW with over 18 campuses. It wanted to improve the capacity of its Indigenous students to transition from education to sustainable employment . We developed the strategy it could apply to achieve this.
Our policy/economic analysis, submissions and advice has enabled organizations like Dreamworld, Accor and Rio Tinto to develop and implement effective Indigenous employment and community partnership programs.
Our consultants have reviewed and advised on strategies to improve the performance and capacity of a range of Indigenous councils, Indigenous businesses and support programs delivered by Indigenous Business Australia, Mission Australia and other NGOs.
We advised the Government on the capacity of Indigenous communities in remote locations to pay increased costs for energy.
